By accessing or using YouDark ("the Service"), operated at youdark.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

YouDark is an AI-powered platform that generates cinematic dark-themed videos from text prompts. The Service includes script generation, image sourcing, voice synthesis, video rendering, and optional YouTube publishing.

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
• One account per person — multiple accounts may be suspended
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4.1 Credit System

YouDark operates on a credit-based system. Each video render consumes credits based on complexity and duration. Credits can be purchased through our pricing plans.

4.2 Purchases

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise stated
• Credits are non-transferable between accounts

4.3 Refunds

Refunds may be issued at our discretion for unused credits within 7 days of purchase. Credits consumed for rendering are non-refundable. Failed renders due to system errors will be automatically refunded to your credit balance.

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or violates any applicable law
• Create deepfakes or misleading content intended to deceive or harm individuals
• Produce content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination
• Infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights of others
• Generate explicit sexual or pornographic content
• Impersonate individuals or organizations in a misleading manner
• Spam, abuse, or overload the Service infrastructure
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Use automated tools or bots to access the Service without permission
• Resell or redistribute the Service without written authorization

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of the text prompts and topics you provide. Videos generated by the Service are licensed to you for personal and commercial use, subject to third-party content restrictions (e.g., stock images, music licenses).

6.2 Generated Content

AI-generated scripts, images, and voiceovers are provided "as-is". YouDark does not guarantee exclusivity — similar content may be generated for other users using similar prompts.

6.3 Music

Background music tracks available in the Service are licensed for use within YouDark-generated videos. Redistribution of music tracks separately from rendered videos is prohibited.

6.4 Our Rights

We reserve the right to use anonymized, aggregated data about Service usage to improve our algorithms and features. We will never publish or share your specific generated content without your explicit permission.

The YouTube Publisher add-on allows you to upload rendered videos directly to your YouTube channel. By using this feature:

• You authorize YouDark to upload videos to your connected YouTube channel
• You are solely responsible for the content published to your channel
• You must comply with YouTube's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
• YouDark is not responsible for any actions taken by YouTube on your channel
• You can disconnect your YouTube channel at any time from the dashboard

• We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime
• Rendering times vary based on video complexity and server load
• We reserve the right to perform maintenance with or without prior notice
• Features may be added, modified, or removed at our discretion

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• YouDark is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months
• We are not responsible for content accuracy of AI-generated scripts or information
• We are not liable for any third-party service disruptions (YouTube, Stripe, AI providers)

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Use
• Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
• Use the Service for illegal purposes
• Attempt to circumvent credit or payment systems

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.
